TANATOSSIS
is a group of trash metal from Alicante (Spain) which began with
differents musicians as most groups do.( Santi,Juanje, best wishes!!!).
The
band was formed in 1996 with the following members.Gabi who is
bass quitar and vocals, Ruben who is the lead quitar, and Ivan
on the drums. In february 97 we recorded our first demo called
"Despierta esto es real" which sounds pretty bad to
us today. |

For
two years we were doing gigs in Alicante and Valencia, in november
99 we decided to record in a studio called (pocapela records) for
our cd "Syndrome Repulsivo". |

We
continued doing gigs and composing songs during one year more until
Ivan decided to leave TANATOSSIS by personal reasons (2001 january).
He was replaced by the current percusionist called Kike. Once Kike
was familiar with all our arrengements, we hit the gigs again. In
march 2002 we retorned to (pocapela records) studio to record "
El nectar del odio". |

At
the beginning of 2003 we were involved in the festival venganza
playing as a support group for (AVULSED) on three occasions:Xativa"kamilstock";Valencia"republica2";Alicante"sala
estereo".
It was a great experience to do gigs with the best band doing DEATH METAL in spain (AVULSED). Last may 2005 a new member was incorporated in TANATOSSIS. Germán has joined together with Ruben on electric guitars as our fourth member of the band. We have collaborated with the B.S.O. in JULIAN LARA¨S FILM called "DEADHUNTER; Sevillian zombies. available in dvd, and full of great bands like ,S.A, TRALLA Y CIEZO, KILLER BABIES, SEGURIDAD SOCIAL, and much more. Also we were invited to take part in the B.S.O of "KOMBATE BRUTAL" by ESCORIA FILMS which has just been made available on dvd (june 2005), and with other bands like, CODENAME, NADIR, BLOOD, EBOLA CORP.,ect. TANATOSSIS is now finishing the record of our fourth cd called "LA CULTURA DE LA MUERTE" which consist our intro and seven tracks. This cd will be released next november.
